Job Description :

Performs planning and scheduling functions involved with coordinating products and materials through various production phases. Implement planned production schedules, labor loading, and capacity requirements. Review schedules to determine materials and parts requirements to ensure materials are available according to schedules. Collects and analyzes data and prepares reports including recommendations to meet internal and external demands for materials and finished goods. Expedites flow of materials, parts, and assemblies within or between departments in accordance with production and shipping schedules.

Essential Functions :

Responsible for completing Failure Analysis and packaging shipments of completed goods against external sales order or customer demand.

Responsible for receipt of units in Lab, MES, database, creating E-File folders, creating travelers, and Cost Point processes.

Perform necessary Cost Point transactions to allocate complete assemblies to upper-level manufacturing orders, complete reliefs of dispatched production on the operating floor, research production control issues and questions when asked by various supporting job functions.

Responsible for transactions of nonconforming material within our quality systems and ERP systems. Sets up batches using MES and takes on responsibility for operator requested assistance during production with MES or transactions necessary to complete production.

Expedites flow of materials, parts, and assemblies within or between departments in accordance with production and shipping schedules.

Maintain inventories of materials or supplies necessary to meet production demands.

Willing to work overtime as needed.

Qualifications :

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary / Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.

2 years or more experience & competency with computers, Microsoft Office Suite.

2 years or more experience using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.

2 years or more experience analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.

Must be a United States Citizen.

Preferred Additional Skills :

Soft skills (I.E. Proficient in MS Office, Smartsheet, and Strong communication).

Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.

Familiarity with ERP, business system tools, and data.

Understanding of Lean Manufacturing Principles and Tools.
