This is a temporary, remote position, in Prudhoe Bay, with an expected duration of 6 weeks, with the potential for additional work scope to be added. Anticipated start date is late February 2025. The typical schedule is 84 hours per week (40 hours straight time and a minimum of 44 hours at time and a half). All meals and lodging are provided by Worley while the employee is on location. Transportation between Anchorage and Prudhoe Bay is provided. Relocation assistance to Alaska is not provided.

Job Purpose:
Fabricates, assembles, installs, and repairs sheet metal and insulation systems.
Essential Job Functions:
· Determines project requirements, including scope, assembly sequences, and required methods and materials, according to blueprints, drawings, and written or verbal instructions.
· Fabricates, assembles, installs, and repairs sheet metal and insulation products and equipment, such as piping weld kits, pipe fittings, module penetrations, and exterior, module ventilation hoods, casings according to job order or blueprints.
· Sets up and operates fabricating machines, such as shears, brakes, bending rolls and punch and drill presses to cut, bend and straighten sheet metal.
· Fastens seams and joints together with bolts, cement, rivets, solder, caulks, metal drive clips, and bonds to assemble components into products or to repair sheet metal items.
· Installs and inspects individual parts, assemblies, and installations for conformance to specifications and codes, using measuring instruments.
· Lays out, measures, and marks dimensions and reference lines on material.
· Trim, file, grind, deburr, buff, and smooth surfaces, seams, and joints of assembled parts.
· Touches up paint on walls or other structural surfaces.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
· Knowledge of fabrication, assembly, handling, installation, dismantling, adjustment, alteration, and repair of sheet metal and insulation.
· Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
· Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the industrial construction or repair.
· Advanced knowledge of sheet metal and insulation products.
· Advanced ability to interpret mechanical drawings & P&ID(s).
· Advanced ability to operate and maintain sheet metal and insulation shop equipment.
· Ability to work as part of a team; communicate effectively with fellow workers and alternate.
· Ability to demonstrate adherence to established safety policies and procedures.
· Ability to demonstrate support for the company’s environmental management system.
Physical Demands/Work Environment:
Work is performed in a remote Arctic environment with limited medical resources. Candidate understands the site is approximately 840 miles (at least 4 hours by air ambulance) from surgical, specialist, and tertiary medical care, and where medical evacuation from this location may be significantly delayed due to weather conditions. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee is required to:
· Must have ability to stand, walk on level, uneven and slippery surfaces, sit, squat, kneel, crawl, reach through low and high ranges, work overhead, and exhibit normal balance and coordination. These basic physical requirements are essential for safe performance of the job in harsh environments with exposure to very cold temperatures and while wearing arctic gear.
· Standing for prolonged periods of time.
· Driving for prolonged periods of time in the dark and inclement weather
· Ability to climb scaffold, ramps, stairs, equipment, portable ladders, and/or wellhouse/tank/facility fixed ladders of 20 feet or greater.
· Ability to wear and utilize fall protection within manufacturer specifications.
· Lift 50 lbs. from floor to waist with two hands.
· Lift 50 lbs. from floor to shoulder with two hands.
· Carry 50 lbs. for 15 feet with two hands.
· Push/pull 60 lbs. sled for 20 feet.
· Push/pull 90 lbs. cart for 20 feet.

External Qualifications:
· Two (2) years Advanced layout and fabrication of sheet metal and insulation components.
· Two (2) years of industrial facility experience.
· Equipment Certification within 90 days of start date (i.e., man lift, scissor lift).
· Valid driver's license and the ability to be covered by Worley auto insurer.
· High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience working with remote North Slope operations.
· Rigging Certification.
