Executive Assistant & Social Media Manager

Location : Berkeley, CA

Position Type : Executive Assistant & Social Media Manager - Part-Time (15-20 hrs / week, In-Office)

Interviews : Week of September 2, 2024

Start Date : Week of September 9, 2024, or Week of September 16, 2024

Salary : Commensurate with Experience Range : $1500-$2200 / mo

Responsibilities

Executive Assistant (60%)

The Chosen Candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the President’s daily activities. Responsibilities will include :

  • Calendar and Meeting Management : Efficiently schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and events for the President.
  • Communication Liaison : Manage all communications, including emails, phone calls, and correspondence, ensuring clear and effective exchanges.
  • Project Coordination : Assist in managing concurrent projects, ensuring all deadlines are met and tasks are meticulously tracked.
  • Documentation : Prepare reports, presentations, and other documents, with an emphasis on detail and clear communication.
  • Office Management : Handle general office tasks such as ordering supplies, managing files, and coordinating with vendors.
  • Event Support : Assist with event planning and production tasks, including coordination, logistics, and on-site support.
  • Travel Arrangements : Organize and book travel, accommodations, and detailed itineraries for both business and personal needs.
  • Personal Assistance : Provide personal support to the President, including managing personal tasks and errands.

Social Media Management (40%)

In addition to executive assistant responsibilities, management of LinkedIn presence for C-Level and company sites, as well as various other platforms. Responsibilities will include :

  • Content Creation : Produce insightful, engaging posts using templates and toolkits for LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Content Management : Schedule and post content consistently across all platforms, ensuring alignment with PLAN’s brand and goals.
  • Marketing Support : Collaborate with the marketing team to support campaigns and initiatives.
  • Analytics : Monitor and analyze social media performance, providing insights and suggestions for continuous improvement.
  • Minimum Requirements

    The ideal candidate would have experience in or interest in long-term growth in either event production or video production, or social media management or PR career tracks; a self-starter with excellent writing and communication skills. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with the leadership of a creative and innovative company, with significant potential for growth.
