Salary is $15 to $16 an hour plus Tips

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen environment, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and equipment are washed and sanitized efficiently. This position is essential for supporting our culinary staff and enhancing the overall dining experience for our guests.

Duties

• Operate dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, pots, pans, and utensils used in food preparation and service.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including floors, counters, and equipment.
• Assist in bussing tables by clearing away dirty dishes and utensils promptly to support the front-of-house team.
• Help cooks and kitchen staff with food preparation as needed, contributing to a smooth workflow in the kitchen.
• Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and sanitation standards are met.
• Support banquet and catering events by ensuring all necessary items are cleaned and ready for service.
• Collaborate with team members in a fast-paced environment while adhering to health and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required; a willingness to learn is essential.
• Familiarity with culinary practices and food handling procedures is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift heavy items as needed.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required by business needs.
