What are the responsibilities and job description for the OB/Gyn Medical Doctor position at La Bella Fleur Birthing Hospital, Inc?
The role of Obstetrics Physician who is engaged in obstetrics and gynecology and will participates in patient care under the direction of Obstetric Medical Director. Each Obstetric Physician responsibility toward the patient will be according to clinical experience, judgment, knowledge, and technical skill. Each Physician must know the limits of his/her scope of authority and the circumstances under which he/she is permitted to act with independence. The Obstetrician will provide clinical management of the Obstetrics/Gynecologic patient, including, but not limited to care during the prenatal, postnatal period, and treating diseases of the female organs.
He/She performed Cesarean sections or other surgical procedures as needed to preserve patient healthy and safe delivery of the newborns.
In addition, this role will assess, treat, and manage clients throughout the pre- and post-natal period based on client needs and agency protocol. This will include individual and group therapy as needed. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented work environment with the ability to operate independently and as a team member to achieve results.
For practices located at La Bella Fleur Birthing and Healthcare Clinics, the Obstetrics Physician is eligible to begin practice after they are credentialed and privileged by La Bella Fleur Birthing Center and Healthcare Clinics Medical Staff. Active Clinic and Birthing privileges will be required and reviewed on a biannual basis to maintain employment within the Organization.
