Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pet Bather to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and grooming, providing a safe and enjoyable bathing experience for pets. As a Pet Bather, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the hygiene and appearance of our furry clients while ensuring their comfort and well-being.

Duties

• Bathe pets using appropriate techniques and products to ensure cleanliness and comfort.
• Brush, comb, and dry pets as needed, paying attention to specific grooming requirements for different breeds.
• Handle animals safely and effectively, employing proper restraint techniques when necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness in the bathing area, including washing towels and cleaning equipment after each use.
• Assist with customer service by greeting pet owners, discussing their pet’s needs, and providing updates on the bathing process.
• Monitor pets for any signs of discomfort or health issues during the grooming process.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth workflow and high-quality service.

Skills

• Proficiency in pet grooming techniques is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
• Strong animal handling skills to ensure safety for both pets and staff.
• Knowledge of animal restraint methods to manage pets during grooming sessions effectively.
• Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with pet owners and address their concerns.
• A genuine love for animals and commitment to providing exceptional care.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $9.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 45 per week

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Morning shift
• Weekends as needed
