What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender position at La Bonne Franquette?
La Bonne Franquette is seeking a part time experienced, professional bartender with 2 yrs experience with serving skills to join our team. A full time position is available if interested in serving shifts in addition to bar. A strong background in artisanal cocktails, craft beer, wine and food service is A MUST. Bar shifts start at 4pm. The restaurant closes at 11pm, so no late nights.
Candidate must be able to cultivate a neighborhood clientele both behind the bar and on the floor. For this position you must be fast, personable, efficient and outgoing. Pay is $10 per hour plus tips.
- Create, prepare, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks consistent with the Restaurant’s standard drink recipes while tending to bar patrons
- Receive orders and serve food to guests dining at the bar
- Maintain bottles and glasses in an attractive and functional manner and assist the restocking and replenishment of bar inventory and supplies in addition to required side work
- Always remain educated on our menu offerings and respond promptly to any requests or questions about our menus, dietary restrictions and other restaurant functions and services
- Embody a strong and efficient work ethic, including, but not limited to keeping a clean and tidy work area, keeping guest areas clean, polishing glassware.
- Complete opening/closing duties, follow standards in place, as well as filling out prep/checklist
- Adhere to cash handling policies with the ability to perform credit card charges as well as provide guests with accurate bills and ring in all orders accurately and at the time of the sale
