Saint Monica Preparatory (SMPREP), a coeducational parish TK-12 day school in the heart of Santa Monica, seeks an experienced and enthusiastic educator to join our dynamic faculty. We offer a college preparatory curriculum for students of diverse abilities, cultures, and faiths, with a strong emphasis on Gold Standard Project-Based Learning (PBL).
In this exciting role, you will :
- Teach : Lead engaging freshman-level Biology courses using our NGSS-based PBL curriculum.
- Lead : Direct and facilitate independent student research in our Mariner Ocean Research Institute, fostering a love of scientific inquiry.
- Publish : Guide students in conducting research of publishing quality, contributing to real-world scientific understanding.
- Cultivate : Create an inclusive, collaborative, and rigorous learning environment that encourages curiosity and develops essential scientific skills.
