This position is dependent upon the number of athletes who turn out for Middle School Girls Basketball
Terms of Employment:
Position Description: Our coaches support the district mission by:
- Coaching and developing players as well as assisting the head coach of the Middle School program
- Working with the High School coaches to develop a cohesive 7-12 program

Terms of Employment:
- January 27,2025 - March 17, 2025; must be available weekdays after school from 3:30-6:00 pm for practices. Games are typically on Mondays and Wednesdays.
- Current CPR/First-Aid Card on file prior to the first day of coaching athletes
- Successful candidate must submit a Washington State Sexual Misconduct Disclosure and undergo state and federal background checks including fingerprinting at the applicant's expense
Salary Range: $2,000 - $2,783/season depending on experience
Benefits: Eligible employees may accrue sick leave at the rate of one (1) hour of sick leave for every 40 hours worked under Washington State Law. Upon working 630 hours in a school year, eligible employees may be eligible for insurance benefits through School Employees Benefits Board (SEBB) which includes, medical, dental, vision, long-term disability, life and AD&D insurance.
Required Qualifications:
- High School diploma
- Must be 19 years of age or older
- Experience playing basketball
- Familiar with the general rules of basketball
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience coaching any sport at any level
- Experience coaching and playing basketball at the High School level or beyond
- Availability to assist the High School program with spring and summer workouts
- Availability to assist with fundraising for the 7-12 basketball program
