Be part of an excellent care team : At La Clínica, you will provide primary and obstetric care in both outpatient and inpatient settings, allowing you to practice full scope family medicine. You will deliver care to a diverse and medically complex patient population, aiming for optimal health outcomes for every patient. Major Areas of Responsibility include but are not limited to :
- Deliver evidenced-based care that supports improved health outcomes and exceptional patient experience.
- Perform routine, acute, urgent, preventive, curative, and rehabilitative medical care to patients.
- Prescribe medications, treatments, or therapies and order medical diagnostic or clinical tests.
- Explain medical procedures or test results to patients or family members.
- Analyze test data or images to inform diagnosis or treatment.
- Deliver well and chronic disease care with cultural humility to a diverse patient population.
- Participate in the call pool and rotational Saturday clinics as needed.
- Develop positive rapport with patients and families to foster the physician / patient relationship.
- Consult with mid-levels on the assessment, management, and treatment of complicated cases.
- Suggest improvements for clinic flow and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members.
- Provide direction to medical assistants regarding patient care as needed.
