Over 86,000 individuals come to La Clínica because it is a welcoming place that addresses the whole person, coordinating and connecting them to a broad network of services to improve and maintain their health and well-being.Who you are As a Mental Health Supervisor, you will provide critical contributions to a team of behavioral health providers that primarily serves the Latino population. You will provide clinical and administrative supervision to Behavioral Health staff and students to ensure that quality services are provided in a professional manner. Supervisor tasks include reviewing cases, monitoring treatment, care plans, clinical care, and documentation to ensure quality and appropriateness of services. Supervisors will maintain a small caseload of clients.You will implement quality assurance plans, including chart reviews, monitor clinical interventions and documentation of services, and participate in program development to improve program quality and expand BH services. You will maintain records of supervision in accordance with standards set by the California BBS and complete staff evaluations in collaboration with department managers. You may also be involved in personnel functions including onboarding, training, and staff development.Qualifications This role is suited for an LCSW, MFT, or Licensed Clinical Psychologist with 2 years post-licensure experience providing clinical supervision to both licensed and unlicensed staff. The ideal candidate is well versed in community mental health, crisis intervention, case management, diagnosis, and treatment with families, children, and adults with a wide range of behavioral health conditions. This role requires flexibility in meeting clients' needs and familiarity with cognitive-behavioral strategies and other evidence-based practices.Success in this position will require organizational and time management skills, a high degree of interpersonal competence, and thorough knowledge of the professional code of ethics and CA mental health code / requirements for LPHAs (Licensed Professionals of the Healing Arts). The position reports to the Clinical Director.Requirements California license as LCSW, MFT, or Licensed Clinical Psychologist with two years post-license experience.Experience in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of persistent mental illness.Expertise in supervising, training, and evaluating staff. Minimum of 2 years of supervision or clinical consultation experience.Knowledge and Abilities Ability to work as part of a comprehensive community mental health team and foster a positive work environment.Ability to work across cultures and demonstrate support of diversity, equity, and inclusion.Good organizational and time management skills.Familiarity with community support systems, health care, social service resources, court, CPS, and police systems.Knowledge of and adherence to the professional code of ethics and the state mental health code.Experience working with the Latino community and ability to uphold cultural humility.Knowledge of Medi-Cal, Quality Assurance, and compliance standards.#J-18808-Ljbffr
