The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications : Education and / or Experience : Required :
- High School Diploma or GED
- DANB Certification (CDA) or 3 years experience assisting in general dentistry
- Excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills
- Skilled at using electronic health records as applicable to area of work
- Oregon Board Radiology Certified
- The employee shall have a valid Oregon driver's license and insurance
- Current CPR / BLS certification (or obtain within 3 months of hire.)Preferred :
- Graduation from an accredited dental assisting school
- EFDA Certification
- Basic knowledge of adult learning modelsLanguage Skills : Must have the ability to communicate with clarity, both verbally and in writing; read, analyze, and interpret complex documents, regulations, policies, and procedure manuals; and create professional business documents.
