Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop assigned Health Center team, ensuring performance standards are met and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to streamline scheduling and operational processes, addressing challenges such as appointment management, patient flow, and rescheduling.
- Ensure high-quality customer service across all interactions with patients, providers, insurance carriers, and community partners.
- Communicate the organization’s mission, values, and performance expectations clearly to team members and patients.
- Develop and implement training plans to ensure team members meet core competencies and maintain knowledge of policies and best practices.
- Actively participate in independent hiring decisions, including evaluating candidates and selecting team members to meet operational needs.
- Work with leadership to identify and resolve operational issues and collaborate on facility-related concerns.
- Perform other duties as assigned to ensure the health center operates smoothly and efficiently
- Required:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Three to five years of experience in medical/dental office
- Medical supervisory experience
- Related experience in a Community Health Center(s)
- Experience in one of the following areas: Medical assisting, front desk, behavioral health, clinical services, nursing.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills
- Skills to intervene and promote reconciliation, compromise and positive outcomes in difficult interactions
- Skilled at using electronic health records as applicable to area of work (EPIC)
- Preferred:
- Associates degree in related field
- Basic knowledge of adult learning models
