What are the responsibilities and job description for the Arena Operations Dispatcher position at LA Clippers?
We are looking for an Arena Operations Dispatcher to join our Intuit Dome team! The Arena Operations Dispatcher is responsible for relaying Back of House and Front of House requests for our Operations team. As an Arena Operations Dispatcher, you will ensure that any and all requests on event days are accurately uploaded into 24/7 Incident Management software, clearly relayed to our Operations and Engineering teams, documented, and completed in a timely manner.
As an Arena Operations Dispatcher, you will ensure that any applicable incidents are relayed to the Arena Operations and Engineering teams, as well as oversee the proper documentation of each incident in our 24/7 Incident Management Software. Dispatchers may also assist with relaying calls to other department representatives if/when needed.
This is a part-time role based in Inglewood, CA. The scope of this position encompasses all Intuit Dome public-facing events. Due to the nature of this industry, the candidate must be available to work a flexible schedule including weeknights, weekends, and holidays to cover high profile concerts and NBA games.

Set to host the 2026 NBA All-Star game and Olympic Basketball in 2028, Intuit Dome is over 1 million square feet and features our team training center, business operations offices, five full-sized basketball courts, an 80,000 square foot outdoor plaza and a double-sided Halo Board composed of more than an acre of LED.

What You Will Do:
- Operate 24/7 Incident Management software for all Intuit Dome event days.
- Act as the Arena Operations representative in Intuit Dome’s Event Command Post (“The Bridge”).
- Communicate verbally and digitally with representatives from other departments and work together to troubleshoot unique event incidents that may arise.
- Communicate effectively with the Arena Operations and Engineering departments within Intuit Dome to ensure that all calls are received and understood.
- Work with the Security team to ensure that ingress/egress patterns happen in a timely and safe manner.
- Communicate any imminent threats or dangers to Security team.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in the field of facility management preferably in a complex and sophisticated deadline driven environment.
- OSHA-10 Hour Certification preferred.
- Previous experience with 24/7 Incident Management software is preferred.
- Open availability and ability to work every Intuit Dome event day is required.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with an ability to interact effectively and professionally, diplomatically, and maturely with internal and external clients and peers at all levels within an organization and throughout the community.
- Understands principles of project coordination, project management, and exhibits attention to detail to meet tight deadlines and work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
- Knowledge of and a passion for professional basketball and live entertainment.
- Highly responsive to emergencies in a fast paced, time sensitive environment.
- Ability to receive direction and constructive feedback within a multi-ethnic/multi-cultural environment.
- Valid Driver’s License
- This position requires frequent bending, ability to move and lift up to 50 pounds, standing for long periods of time, exposure to multiple external elements, and extensive walking through the building.
- Compensation for this role is $20/hour.
- Total hours for this role are expected to vary based on event schedule. This role is expected to work several hours before, during, and after all Intuit Dome public (and some private) events.
