What are the responsibilities and job description for the Youth Volleyball Coach position at La Crosse Area Family YMCA?
Come join our Youth Sports team! Our Y is looking for individuals to help coach our Spring Volleyball Clinic! Additional coaching opportunities available for the Spring session as well!
Shift Options :
Volleyball Coach : Mondays or Thursdays (4 : 30 pm 6 : 30 pm) (can be determined based off coachs availability)
Additional Spring sports coaching options available if interested!
Responsibilities :
Plan and lead volleyball practices and games in alignment with YMCA values and program guidelines.
Teach fundamental skills such as passing serving setting and teamwork.
Create a fun safe and inclusive environment for all participants.
Provide positive reinforcement and encouragement to build players confidence and skills.
Communicate effectively with players parents and YMCA staff.
Requirements
Candidates should be enthusiastic motivating and able to relate well to young children
Some knowledge and experience playing organized sports
