Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary staff and contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Duties
- Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and cooking equipment using appropriate methods.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by regularly sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste.
- Assist with bussing tables and organizing dining areas as needed.
- Ensure that all food handling and safety standards are strictly followed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely availability of clean dishes for food preparation and service.
- Report any maintenance or repair needs for kitchen equipment to management promptly.
- Support other kitchen staff in various tasks as directed to ensure smooth operations.
Experience
- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred but not required; we welcome candidates eager to learn.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Must be able to work collaboratively as part of a team while maintaining a positive attitude.
