Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair all plant equipment
- Fabricate/weld needed equipment parts
- Perform preventative maintenance on plant equipment
- Maintain plant grounds as needed
- Complete all required paperwork
- Ensure product quality and safety by following food safety procedures and regulations
Requirements:
- Strong mechanical ability
- Basic knowledge of electricity
- Knowledge of stick & wire feed welding
- Experience in handling shop power tools
- High-school diploma – GED equivalent
Other Skills/Abilities:
- Strong math skills
- Valid driver's license
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work in hot and cold, dusty environments
- Availability to work scheduled on-call and weekends
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds
