Hiring a medical secretary / assistant to help run the day to day operations of the practice and grow with the office in a long term position.
1 physician in this practice at this time.
Job responsibilities include but not limited to :
Checking in patients (providing forms, collecting copays, upload chart and profile).
Assisting with patient charts - updating profiles, demographics and documentation
Copying and scanning patient information, records, testing, lab results into charts.
Electronic medical records data entry and updating charts as needed
Emailing and calling patients, surgery center, hospital and billing team daily as needed
Answering phone calls
Accessing online website portal for patient appointment requests and scheduling
Starting insurance verification forms, preparing daily charts and billing forms
Scheduling procedures at the surgery center or hospital
Daily communication via phone and text message with team members and staff.
Office requires someone who is personable with phone etiquette, reliable and comes to work on a regular basis.
Posting blogs on website and social media as needed
Prior medical experience required
Part or full time. Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm with a 1 hr lunch break from 12-1pm
