**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team with at least 1 year of experience. The ideal candidate will have a background in the food industry and possess excellent customer service skills. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages to customers while maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
**Duties:**
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following standard recipes
- Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol
- Upsell additional products when appropriate
**Skills:**
- Previous experience in bartending or hospitality industry is mandatory
- Proficiency in operating Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems
- Strong knowledge of bartending techniques and drink recipes
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and processing payments
- Sales skills to promote specials and increase revenue
