Physical Therapy Assistant

We are looking for a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team and provide in-home therapy services to our patients in the San Bernardino, Chino Hills, Moreno Valley, and Oceanside areas. The PTA will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to assist patients in their recovery journey.

Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on physical therapy treatments to patients in their homes, including exercises, manual therapy, and mobility assistance.

• Follow treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist and assist in implementing therapeutic exercises and modalities.

• Educate patients and their families on exercises, safety precautions, and equipment use to improve mobility and function.

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) as prescribed by the Physical Therapist.

• Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist.

• Ensure patient comfort and safety during therapy sessions.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.

• Collaborate with healthcare providers, caregivers, and families to support patient rehabilitation goals.

• Travel to patient homes in assigned service areas (San Bernardino, Chino Hills, Moreno Valley, Oceanside).

• Maintain professional relationships with patients, their families, and the healthcare team.

Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.

• Current PTA licensure in California.

• Previous experience in home health or physical therapy preferred, but not required.

• Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Compassionate and patient-focused approach.

• Ability to travel to patient homes in the specified areas (San Bernardino, Chino Hills, Moreno Valley, Oceanside).

• Current CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
