YOGURT PRODUCTION MACHINE OPERATOR
ABOUT LA FERMIERE US – THE FRENCH YOGURT

Coming to the US to share our French recipes was our “American dream” come true. With a strong launch 5 years ago, La Fermière US is now available nationwide in both retail and food service, with more than 1000 locations.
With national expansion keep growing, we need to reinforce our production team. The position in based in Santa Rosa, CA.
- OPERATION OF PACKAGING MACHINES/LINES
It ensures and optimizes the operation and productivity of the packaging:
- It proceeds to the commissioning of its line according to the manufacturing program,
- It ensures the regular supply of consumables and verifies their conformity (fruit bag, pallet, pot, seal, sheath ....) in collaboration with the Handlers,
- It monitors the different driving parameters of the machine during production,
- he supervises the packaging filler
- It regulates the activity from controls, hazards and upstream and downstream information,
- It applies the necessary corrective measures (settings) in case of malfunction,
- It carries out the adjustment activities in compliance with the defined instructions,
- It respects the rules of use of the packers in order to guarantee their proper functioning, including during cleanings
- CONTROLS and TRACEABILITY
It guarantees optimal product quality:
- He controls the product by ensuring compliance with the work instructions,
- It ensures that the pallets are taken care of for their storage, (oven temperature control and cold)
- It verifies that the dlc, primary and secondary packaging correspond to the production planing.
- It provides precise and complete information on the packaging sheets following the various checks.
- He carries out the various samples for the control of the finished products
- It performs weight checks
COMPLIANCE WITH CLEANING PLANS
It respects the cleaning instructions of the different areas in accordance with the posted plans.
He plans, carries out and controls the cleaning operations.
It checks the supply of cleaning product to the workstation and feeds it if necessary.
It records the cleaning operations on the corresponding documents.
It constantly monitors the state of cleanliness of production and storage areas, materials and equipment.
It checks daily that the cleaning operations are carried out correctly.
- GUARANTEE OF THE CONTINUITY OF THE ACTIVITY
He ensures the supply of his workstation (raw materials, sampling equipment ...).
It guides the operations of packaging, storage of materials / products in connection with the managers.
- PERFORMING FIRST-LEVEL MAINTENANCE
It performs first-level preventive/curative maintenance of equipment.
He maintains his equipment (chains, bin, tool box, scale ...) and warns his manager in case of loss or deterioration
It is able to detect and analyze an anomaly.
It intervenes if possible in case of failure, otherwise it notifies the maintenance department or direct manager
QUALITY MANAGEMENT
He knows and applies the different procedures related to his workstation.
It is aware of its responsibilities in terms of quality regarding compliance with:

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
