What are the responsibilities and job description for the Branch Manager - Lake Havasu, AZ position at LA Financial Credit Union?
The Branch Manager under minimal direction will utilize strategic thinking and execute for results, leading talent, and developing personal proficiency to facilitate the achievement of branch service and growth goals through performance accountability and recognition. This role MAY manage more than one branch.
Essential job functions:
- Responsible for overall profitability by directing sales and business development, meeting operational objectives and ensuring the branch achieves its goals.
- Demonstrates extensive knowledge of laws, regulations and policies governing credit union accounts. Ensure branch operations are conducted in accordance with established policies, procedures, and guidelines in alignment with regulatory requirements.
- Model the sales and service standards in the branch and ensures that employees are trained and motivated toward achieving expectations.
- Meet or exceeds all Member experience, sales, and financial goals through results coaching and development. Develop action plans to survey results and Member feedback.
- May manage multiple locations, multiple departments, or asked to provide coverage for additional Branches (other than the primary Branch of assignment) or the Regional Manager, on an as needed basis. Performs related duties as assigned.
- Effectively build productive and collaborative working relationships with direct reports, peers, leadership, and all other departments.
- Ability to take on and successfully complete operationally based projects, designed to enhance Branch processes/policies, community involvement, improving member experience, etc., as assigned. Projects may vary in size, scope, and complexity.
- Be a "champion" by cultivating sales opportunities through networking, relationship building, digital networking, and Member outreach. Participates in industry events and is highly visible and active within the community.

Education:
- Required: High School diploma or equivalent
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Required Work Experience and Software Knowledge:
- 6 years of analytical and problem-solving experience in branch operations, management experience, analysis, process improvement, and/or program/project management role.
- Ability to meet the Driving Requirement below
- None to Rare Occasional Extensive - 50% or more of time
- Requires proof of Valid Driver's License
- Must maintain minimum state liability insurance
- Must have access to a vehicle
- Proficient in using applicable MS Office programs (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams)
