What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cleaning Staff position at LA Fitness (Esporta Fitness/Fitness International)?
Our janitorial staff is the backbone of the “Club Pride” everyone shares for the facility where they work. There are both full and part time positions available and room for advancement depending on your skills and ambition. All Club Pride staff members are given a complimentary club membership.
Looking for hours from 2pm-11pm on weekdays
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and dusting to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas.
- Ensure all surfaces, fixtures, and furniture are sanitized and well-maintained.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
- Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient cleaning operations and meet organizational standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning and sanitation practices
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good physical stamina and capability to perform repetitive tasks

Pay: From $12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
