Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kids Club Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children while their parents participate in activities. You will play a crucial role in ensuring their well-being and enjoyment during their time in the Kids Club.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage with children in a safe and nurturing environment.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
- Educate children on basic concepts through play, fostering curiosity and creativity.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Kids Club area.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's experience and any concerns.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and first aid protocols.
- Support children with special needs or developmental challenges as necessary.
Experience
- Previous experience working with students or children in settings such as preschool, daycare, or special education is preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles is highly desirable.
- Certification in First Aid or CPR is a plus.
- Experience in babysitting or related childcare roles will be considered an asset.
