Maintenance and Facilities Manager - LA Fitness

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance and operations of our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of facilities management, ensuring that all systems function efficiently and effectively. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Duties

• Oversee daily operations of the facility, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards.
• Manage maintenance schedules for HVAC systems, electrical systems, and other critical infrastructure.
• Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for tracking work orders and maintenance activities.
• Lead and mentor a team of maintenance staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence.
• Fabricate and maintain equipment as necessary, ensuring minimal downtime in operations.
• Interpret schematics and use voltmeters for troubleshooting electrical issues within the facility.
• Coordinate with external vendors for specialized services as needed, ensuring quality service delivery.
• Implement project management techniques to oversee renovations or upgrades to facilities.

Experience

• Proven experience in facilities management or a related field is essential.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, low voltage systems, and general building maintenance practices.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience managing teams effectively.
• Familiarity with project management principles and practices is preferred.
• Ability to read schematics and utilize tools such as voltmeters for troubleshooting purposes.
