What are the responsibilities and job description for the Membership Representative position at LA Fitness?
Reports to: General Manager
As a membership counselor at LA Fitness, you will play a vital role in the success of a club by generating membership sales and providing exceptional service to prospective and current members. You will focus on building relationships, explaining membership benefits & assisting individuals in achieving their fitness goals through club offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Membership sales
- Conduct outreach efforts to attract new members through phone calls, emails, & in-person interations.
- Schedule and conduct tours of the club for potential embers, highlighting club amenities, classes and personal training programs.
- Explain membership options and pricing clearly and effectively.
- Consistently meet or exceed personal and team sales goals.
2. Customer Service
- Welcome and assist potential members, providing them with information to address their fitness needs and goals.
- maintain positive relationships with current members by answering questions, resolving concerns, and offering support.
- Serve as a brand ambassador for LA Fitness.
3. Administrative Duties
- Accurately process membership applications, contracts, and payments.
- Maintain up-to-date records of member accounts.
- Assist with marketing and promotional campaigns.
4. Team Collaboration
- Work closely with management and other staff to achieve overall club objectives.
- Participate in regular sales meetings and training sessions to improve skills and knowledge.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.50 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
