Summary
As a Membership Sales Counselor, you will be instrumental in driving membership growth and enhancing guest & members satisfaction. Reporting to the Membership Director & Assistant Membership Director, your core responsibilities will include engaging with potential members, utilizing your retail sales and customer service skills to promote membership benefits. Your premium skills in POS systems and marketing will aid in effectively creating positive connections with potential guest & members, as well as generate community awareness of our club & the specials we offer. Additionally, your relevant experience in the fitness and/or health environments will enhance your ability to connect with customers and meet their needs. Responsibilities
- Engage with potential members to promote and sell membership options, providing exceptional customer service throughout the process.
- Utilize cash handling skills to manage transactions accurately using the POS systems.
- Maintain a clean and organized sales area.
- Communicate the features and benefits to enhance potential members understanding and interest.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and provide feedback on customer preferences.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Experience in retail sales and cash handling
- Must be able to do inside & outside marketing
- Proficiency in basic math and literacy
- Familiarity with POS systems and computers
- Experience in fitness, membership sales and marketing a plus.
- Bilingual skills are a plus
- Supervisory experience is advantageous
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
