The Operations Manager In Training (OMIT) position prepares an individual for the Operations Manager position. The job of our Operations Manager (OM) is to ensure that our members receive exceptional service from a happy, friendly staff in a clean and well-maintained facility. The OMIT position shares the same responsibilities as the OM through out the week along with weekend coverage during their training. They will have full responsibility during this time allowing the OMIT to work on their management skills.
Operations Managers are responsible for the day to day running of the club, hire, train, and develop the Front Desk, Kids Club, and Janitorial personnel along with coordinating building maintenance. Our ideal candidate is a kind person with the following qualifications:
- Leader: Ability to lead a team of 10 employees
- Recruiter: Ability to identify talent for these positions
- Teacher: Ability to learn and in turn train staff and colleagues
- Ambassador Problem Solver: Ability to arrive at resolutions that satisfied members, employees and colleagues
Recent Graduates and or some management experience in retail or customer service are encouraged to apply. The OMIT program can run up to six months depending on their abilities with a goal of having their own club when they are ready.
