What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Administrative Assistant position at LA Foods?
As a Sales Assistant to LA Foods, you will play a key role in managing and supporting day-to-day operations with precision and clear communication. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and has excellent communication skills.
● Serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day customer requests, handling orders, and addressing and resolving concerns.
● Build and maintain partnerships with customers, ensuring customer satisfaction through exceptional service and execution. This includes following up to ensure that recently received POs were delivered correctly and on time.
● Process new orders, including requesting customer purchase orders and entering them into the internal system.
● Obtain required product specifications and paperwork from buyers and suppliers as needed.
● Coordinate with the freight department to obtain freight status updates.
● Ensure all deadlines are met, allowing both sales and purchasing sufficient time to address forecasts and pricing.
● Interact with the accounting department regarding customer invoices and adjustments.
● Assist in identifying and driving continuous improvement in processes to enhance efficiency and service.
● Utilize the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform for account management, opportunity tracking, task management, and logging key customer data.

Requirements…
● High School Diploma or GED, preferably a bachelor’s degree in business, analytics, supply chain
● Minimum 2 years of administrative assistant in sales and or marketing experience, (preferably in the food industry)
● Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, HubSpot
