Job Overview
L.A. Gauge Company, a leading manufacturer of ultraprecision machining and optics, seeks an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist to join our second shift team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail to produce precision parts according to engineering specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC lathes to produce high-precision parts.
- Read blueprints and maintain close tolerances up to 0.0001 of an inch.
- Maintain quality and efficiency standards in work processes.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience setting up and operating CNC lathes.
- Familiarity with Nakamura, Ikegai, Mazak, Hardinge, or Hitachi Seiki machines.
- Familiarity with Mazak, Fanuc, or Hardinge controls.
- Able to lift up to 40 Lbs.
