Next, LA GOLF launched the most technologically advanced putters ever made, patenting the first-ever all carbon construction (a material 5x less dense than solid steel), which allows for a much larger area of forgiveness for off-center hits. This combined with their patented Descending Loft Face technology solves for consistency with launch angles and yields more predictable rolls.

Last year, LA GOLF's balls dropped, featuring a four-piece proprietary construction that solves for both distance and control. The LA GOLF ball has outperformed the Titleist Pro V1 in several independent tests for backspin profile, carry, and total distance.

This year, LA GOLF announced their hero product: a driver designed alongside their founding player partner and two-time U.S. Open Champion, Bryson DeChambeau.

LA GOLF was founded by Reed Dickens, the founding CEO of Marucci Sports, where he deployed a similar strategic playbook alongside co-founder Kurt Ainsworth (currently CEO of Marucci and a LA GOLF board member) to leverage unique materials and partner with the greatest players in the game to dethrone legacy incumbents Louisville Slugger and Easton.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

The Key Account Manager will be responsible for managing and growing our relationship with a key account in the golf industry. Based in Chicago, IL, this individual will play a critical role in driving revenue growth and ensuring our products are effectively represented and utilized by our key partner. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of golf, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for building strong relationships.





  • Account Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for our key account, ensuring that their needs are met and that we deliver exceptional service.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within the account, focusing on driving revenue growth and maximizing the partnership's potential.
  • Actively visit and call on store locations, fostering relationships and making the account and its stores feel like our most important customer.

  • Regularly engage with store managers and staff, providing hands-on support and ensuring our products are properly showcased and supported.
  • Proactively communicate with internal teams to stay informed about company developments and relay relevant information to the key account.

  • Think creatively and strategically to identify and implement ways to grow the key account, ensuring mutual success.
  • Education and Training:

  • Primary Responsibility: Educate every new fitter within the key account on our company, brand, and products, ensuring they are well-equipped to represent our offerings effectively.
  • Act as an ambassador for our brand, making sure that all fitters understand our value proposition and can communicate it confidently to their customers.

  • Continuously energize and support fitters with regular updates, training sessions, and on-demand support to maintain high levels of engagement and product knowledge.
  • Sales Strategy and Execution:
  • Collaborate with the National Director of Sales to develop and execute sales strategies tailored to the key account, aligning with broader company goals.

  • Identify opportunities to expand product offerings and increase sales within the account, leveraging data and insights to make informed decisions.
  • Monitor account performance, including sales data, feedback, and trends, to continuously optimize the relationship and achieve revenue targets.
  • Reporting and Communication:
  • Provide regular updates to the National Director of Sales on account performance, challenges, and opportunities.

  • Maintain detailed records of account activities, sales, and feedback to ensure accurate reporting and strategic planning.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, sports management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Deep understanding of the golf industry, with specific knowledge of fitting processes and equipment.

  • Proven track record in account management or sales, ideally within the golf industry or a related field.
  • Experience in educating and training staff, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with a customer-focused mindset.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence and persuade key stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks, with strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • High energy and a proactive approach, with a willingness to travel regularly to visit store locations and engage with staff.
  • Ability to think strategically about account growth and implement effective strategies for long-term success.

SALARY & BENEFITS

  • $75-90k annually
