Job Summary :
La Grande Post Acute Rehab is currently looking for a Infection Prevention Nurse / Staff Development Coordinator (LPN / RN) to track and monitor infections in the facility, educate staff regarding infection control policies and procedures and to administer, plan, develop, evaluate, coordinate and educate any and all programs for the facility's staff.
Essential Functions :
Infection Prevention Nurse
- Interprets and implements established facility policies, procedures and regulations
- Observes and teaches the facility infection control policies and procedures
- Demonstrates consistent ability to identify issues
- Participates in and contributes meaningful information in all meetings relating to resident care and QA / QI in the facility.
- Maintains all records and data in a neat, organized manner for prompt retrieval.
