Under supervision of the KidZone Extended Care Supervisor and direction from the Site Lead provide a safe, secure, and orderly, child-oriented environment; lead and organize play and leisure time for students, and offer assistance with homework. EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE
Completion of high school or General Education Diploma (GED).
Previous experience working with children is highly desirable.
Work with children in a leadership role; relate well to both students
and their parents; show patience and consistency in dealing with students;
and maintain confidences; and must be able to stand for long periods of time.

EXAMINATION PROCEDURES
This is a promotional and open competitive recruitment. The examination may consist of a training and experience (supplemental responses) evaluation, written test or performance test and a structured oral interview.
To qualify to be placed on an eligibility list, a candidate must obtain a passing score on each test part of the examination process. Final scores will be obtained by combining the relative weights of scores on each test part. If Veteran's credit is claimed, proof of status (DD214) must be submitted to the Classified Personnel Office at the same time the application form is submitted or prior to testing. The life of the eligibility list will be twelve (12) months. The resulting eligibility list will be used to fill current and future permanent and substitute vacancies.
