What are the responsibilities and job description for the Evening Direct Care Assistant position at La Hacienda Treatment Center?
Job Description
The Direct Care Assistant is responsible for monitoring the safety and well being of patients, as well as ensuring patient compliance with program rules and guidelines. They will assist with milieu management under the direction of the Program Director or designated super and will also address and/or direct patient concerns to the shift supervisor as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrate the ability to interact warmly and professionally.
- Able to provide support to patient(s) when experiencing difficulty.
- Ability to address patient concerns with the shift supervisor.
- Familiarity with 12 Step principles preferred.
- Bilingual preferred.
- Must be computer literate.
- Must be able to sit, bend, stand, stoop and lift up to 20 pounds.
- If recovering, must have a minimum of one year sobriety.
Schedule:
- Monday-Thursday
- 1:30pm-12am
- No weekends
