Job Description:
The Unit Clerk performs specific duties of patient care, under the direct supervision of the Charge Nurse, to help provide psychological, emotional and physical support for each patient. Also performs clerical duties on a daily basis under the supervision of the Charge Nurse. Responsible for checking on all community residing patients several times per night as well as monitoring campus buildings/grounds for safety and security.
General Qualifications:

General Qualifications:
- High school diploma or G.E.D. required.
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Good communication and customer service skills are required.
- Solid computer skills are required.
- Must be able to tolerate outside conditions year round.
- Must be able to walk across campus multiple times during a shift as required.
- Must be able to sit, bend, stoop, push, pull and lift up to 25 pounds.

Schedule:
- Overnights
- Rotating 12 hour and 8 hour shifts.
- Rotating weekends and holidays.
- Schedule made at least 1 month in advance to allow work-life balance.
