We are seeking a detail-oriented and professional Part-Time Mailroom Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in an administrative or corporate setting and demonstrate reliability, organization, and strong attention to detail. This role requires handling incoming and outgoing mail, scanning documents, and utilizing basic computer skills to navigate Microsoft Suite.
Location: Wilmington, DE
Pay: $20.00 per hour
20-30 hours a week
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages promptly.
- Prepare and send outgoing mail, including certified and priority shipments.
- Scan, organize, and digitally file important documents.
- Assist with basic administrative tasks and document processing.
- Utilize Microsoft Suite and other office software as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized mailroom environment.
- Ensure confidentiality and accuracy when handling sensitive materials.
- Provide support to internal departments with mail-related inquiries.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Previous experience in an administrative role or corporate environment/office is highly preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail.
- Professional and polished demeanor with strong communication skills.
- Ability to operate scanners and navigate Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Basic understanding of mailroom operations is a plus.
