Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and assisting the dental team in various procedures. Duties
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
- Take medical imaging, including X-rays, using appropriate techniques to capture clear images.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation of patient records, treatments, and progress notes.
- Monitor vital signs and assist in assessing patients' health status prior to procedures.
- Implement infection control protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
- Utilize 3D scanners for creating digital impressions as needed.
- Support prosthodontics and endodontics procedures by preparing materials and assisting during treatments.
- Demonstrate knowledge of anatomy to effectively assist in various dental procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control practices is essential.
- Familiarity with medical documentation processes and the ability to maintain accurate records.
- Proficiency in using medical imaging equipment is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of dental anatomy to assist effectively during procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly with patients and team members.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
