ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
- Must be able to perform multiple tasks while maintaining required standards of operation in daily restaurant activities.
- Must be able to perform duties to ensure Guest satisfaction. Work in a busy environment, under pressure while maintaining a high level of customer service and correcting any Guest food issues.
- Maintain a cheerful, courteous disposition and a neat, clean professional image.
- Ensure all items are rung up correctly. Collect payments for goods, make change and hand out receipts.
- Be responsible for all monies in the cash drawer and handle cash, credit cards and gift card transactions in a professional and efficient manner.
- Have complete knowledge of the menu.
- Suggest to each Guest the purchase of additional food, beverages and/or merchandise items.
- Keep the register area clean, organized, and well stocked and properly perform opening and closing shift duties.
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
- Be able to articulate clear greeting, requests for assistance and farewell to Guests.
- Stands/works/moves during entire shift with frequent bending and stooping. Lifts and carries up to 10 lbs. multiple times per shift.
- Be able to acknowledge hazards such as broken glass, burns, slipping, and tripping.
- Be able to read menu items and understand ticket orders.
- Be able to hear and verbally communicate with Managers, Associates and Guests in the midst of loud background noises.
- Be able to pass Cashier tests as required.
- Be able to pass Bakery tests as required.
- Able to work with different types of kitchen equipment, including but not limited to: coffee/tea brewing machine
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
