What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Hotel Night Auditor position at La Mer Beachfront Resort?
The main responsibility of the Night Auditor is to prepare the front desk for the next day's arrivals and settle out the financials for the previous day. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Ensuring all revenues, receipts, and room accounts are balanced at the end of the night prior to the start of the next day.
- Completing required reports.
- Making necessary corrections to guest accounts.
- Relaying messages to housekeeping or maintenance staff when guests report problems.
- Delivering requested items to guests, as needed.
- Performing the responsibilities of a Front Desk Agent during the shift.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least one (1) year of Hospitality and/or customer service experience is required.
- Must be proficient in basic computer programs and software, including Microsoft Office.
- Must be able to communicate effectively, be polite, courteous, and responsive to our guests.
- Must be able to speak and write the English language in an understandable manner.
- Must be organized and detail oriented.
The hours for the Night Auditor are OVERNIGHT (11:00 pm to 7:00 am). This position requires the employee be available overnights, weekends and holidays.
