Description
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Creates driver’s schedules, dispatches drivers during the workday, and monitors driver productivity and other cost elements on on-call drivers.
- Coordinates the daily movement of inventory and company equipment as directed by the Operations Manager, along with Sales and Services if needed.
- Acts as the communication center and support for drivers, internal and external customers and Management during normal dispatch day.
- Coordinates purchase pick-ups with the Buying department. This includes scheduling airline flights, communication with customers and responsibility for the proper completion of all applicable paperwork.
- Responsible for securing and monitoring the use of company fuel cards or other company credit cards issued for use by the drivers. This includes tracking the receipts and reconciling the monthly statements.
- Monitors daily move logs and forwards them as needed.
- Keeps an accurate record of company vehicle maintenance.
- Schedules required service and repairs.
- Updates mileage weekly within the Reynolds system.
- Monitors the safety status of all vehicles and takes steps to ensure that all vehicles are safe to drive.
- Available to drive units as needed.
- Manages the hours worked by drivers to comply with applicable regulations and policies.
- Required to follow all Federal, State and Local transportation and safety laws and the company’s internal policies.
- Ensure all paperwork is completed and filed in a timely, accurate and legible manner.
- Assist other transportation department employees as needed.
- Adhere to all company policies, SOP’s and guidelines.
- Adhere to all quality, safety, policies, procedures and reporting requirements.
- Other duties as required by the manager.

- Ability to operate motorized recreational vehicles and other related equipment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and function effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to drive equipment in various types of weather, if needed.
- Requires ability to read, hear, speak, and comprehend and carry out verbal and written instructions & Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
Experience and Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- General knowledge of Microsoft Applications (Word, Outlook, Excel).
- Valid driver's license always required and must maintain a clean driving record.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Requires ability to safely operate equipment.
- Requires ability to visually observe the condition of surroundings.
- Requires ability to hear and speak.
- Requires ability to climb ladders and stairs of various heights.
- Requires ability to climb ladders and stairs of various heights, in and out of RVs and other like equipment.
- Requires ability to work in varying extreme hot, cold, and wet temperatures and conditions on occasion.
