Description
Position reports to the onsite Facilities Maintenance Technician.
Daily tasks to be directed by onsite staff.
·Assist with identifying potential maintenance and construction needs for the location.
· Perform all onsite maintenance projects as assigned or determined.
· Perform electrical and plumbing maintenance as needed for location.
· Complete general building maintenance for location.
· Change A/C filters and perform other routine maintenance as needed.
· Repair/replace drywall as needed or other like and similar projects.
· Interior/Exterior painting of location as determined and needed.
· Requires ability to respond promptly to emergencies.
· Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.
· Maintain a safe work environment on lots for customers and employees.
· Other duties and projects as assigned by Manager.
Qualifications
· Requires ability to read, hear, speak, comprehend and carry out verbal and written instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
· Requires ability to safely operate equipment.
· Ability to visually observe the condition and surroundings.
· Requires ability to push, pull, stoop, bend, reach, life and carry items in excess of 50 pounds occasionally.
· Requires ability to work in varying extreme hot, cold and wet temperatures and conditions.
· Prior working experience in facilities and/or construction.
· Knowledge of facilities and/or construction processes, means and methods.
· Knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards.
· High school diploma or equivalent certificate.
