LMRV is currently hiring for a Payroll Manager for our growing team. The ideal candidate must possess strong numeracy skills, attention to detail, and be able to multi task effectively.
SUMMARY: Manage all aspects of payroll in a timely and accurate manner. Management of employee data, ensuring the accuracy of timesheets, computing wages and ensuring employees are paid correctly and on time.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Run bi-monthly payroll
- Check in with supervisors regarding time exceptions/adjustments.
- Monitor promotions, transfers and terminations
- Enter garnishments, medical deductions, and other employee deductions.
- Maintain accurate information in Paycom and audits payroll information for accuracy.
- Troubleshoot problems with paychecks, tax deductions, timecard issues, and other payroll-related matters and respond accordingly to inquiries.
- Respond to questions from employees regarding paychecks, direct deposit and/or general payroll questions in a timely manner
- Stay informed of key dates and important deadlines.
- Stay educated on latest laws and legislation (on local, state, and federal levels) and informs organization on major legal changes.
- Prepare relevant records for management on a monthly, quarterly and year-end basis.
- Ensure that payroll goes out in timely manner
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS:
- Pre-employment screenings including background and drug test
- High School diploma/GED required.
- Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting preferred.
- 2-5 years broad payroll experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and payroll software programs (Paycom preferred)
- Strong numerical aptitude, and attention to detail and organization.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
