Graveyard Gas Station Cashier
Job Summary
Responsible for collecting payments from patrons frequenting a gas station. Accept payments for gas, food, medicine, cigarettes, vehicle repair work orders, or alcohol and deliver change. Fill patrons' gas tanks if necessary.
Primary responsibilities:
Collect cash from patrons at a gas station and Dispense change.
Charge purchases to customers' credit cards or debit cards.
Provide customers with receipts.
Sell food and grocery items.
Fill up gas tanks if asked.
Collect and dispose of trash outside.
Verify age of customer if they are purchasing alcohol or cigarettes.
Answer questions and provide directions if needed.
Activate fuel pumps.
Answer phone, transfer calls and/or take messages.
Clean gas station bathrooms.
Count money in cash drawers.
Operate price scanners.
Sweep and mop floors.
Stock Shelves. (Ability to lift 20 Pounds, climb ladder, and reach overhead)
Must wear supplied Sinclair Shirt and Name badge. (Supplied by La Mesa Sinclair)
Arrive and clock-in 10 minutes before shift starts, to count cash drawer.
Call police to report suspicious activity in and around gas station.
If needed, Pump gas for customers and Fill propane bottles.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
