What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2nd Shift Production Operator position at La Mexicana Tortilla Factory?
Since 1955, La Mexicana has made and distributed the highest quality tortillas to our customers in the Northwest. Now, we have just moved into a brand new baking facility and we are accepting new applicants!
One of the key positions in making quality product for our customers is the Production Operator. The Production Operator is responsible for portioning ingredients to make dough, loading commercial mixing equipment, as well as starting and operating ovens to ensure proper finished product quality and consistency.
This position requires someone who is reliable, who can follow recipes consistently, and who is comfortable lifting upwards of 50 pounds regularly and operating heavy equipment. It is the ideal position for someone who wants to work as part of a team, is interested in food or commercial baking, and wants the opportunity to succeed in a local, family owned company with great people.
