Description
Job Summary: Conducts screening and assessments of patients as ordered by the physician. Dietitian provides dietary counseling to patients and family members. Also prepares meal plans and nourishment program for special needs of patients. Dietitian conducts quality assurance in all related areas. The Dietitian assists Food Service Manager in all related clinical areas. Also conducts in-service education as needed/requested.
Qualifications
Regulatory Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Accredited Bachelor of Science Degree from approved American Dietetic Association Program
- Registered by the Commission of Dietetic Registration of the American Dietetic Association
- Minimum of one year experience in clinical dietetics required.
Language Skills:
- Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Additional languages preferred.
