Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team in the hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a positive dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for customer service, as you will be responsible for managing guest relations and providing exceptional guest services.

Duties

• Greet guests as they arrive, ensuring a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize flow and minimize wait times.
• Assist guests with inquiries about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area, including the waiting area and host stand.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
• Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism, striving to resolve issues promptly.
• Utilize POS systems to manage reservations and track guest preferences when applicable.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests and team members.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on enhancing guest relations.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of food service operations is a plus, along with familiarity with POS systems.
• A positive attitude and willingness to help others are essential for success in this role.

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
