What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Agent position at La Playa Inn?
La Playa Inn, a 38-room boutique, mission style Inn is looking for a new Front Desk Agent to join our friendly team!
As a hotel guest service/front desk agent, applicants need to have a positive, productive demeanor to support the hotel's front and back office including:
- Customer service
- Record keeping
- Telephone operations
- Creating/Editing reservations
- Other duties assigned by Management
Applicants need to be customer friendly, organized and reliable.
MUST HAVE OPEN AVAILABILITY
WEEKDAYS, WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS REQUIRED
POSITION IS PART-TIME WITH POTENTIAL FOR FULL-TIME
Shift 1: 7am - 3pm Shift 2: 3pm-11pm Schedule: Some shift 1 and shift 2
$500 Bonus After 6-Months of Employment with Perfect Attendance
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Check in and check out guests efficiently
- Manage online and phone reservations
- Communicate with housekeeping department to ensure smooth check in process and rooms are ready for guests
- Provide information for guests regarding rates, rooms and amenities
- Respond to guest complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Receive and route incoming calls in an efficient, friendly manner
- Accurately post charges to guest accounts.
- Maintain the confidentiality of proprietary company information, including but not limited to: hotel performance statistics, guest info., prospective businesses, hotel financial information throughout and after employment by the hotel
- Other duties assigned by management
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.50 - $20.00 per hour
