What are the responsibilities and job description for the Guest Service Agent/Front Desk position at La Playa Inn?
As guest service agent also known as front desk attendant, applicants need to be a positive, productive demeanor to support the hotel's front and back office including customer service, record keeping, telephone operations, reservations, and other related activities. Applicants need to be customer friendly, organized, reliable. This position requires weekend and holidays.
Shift1: 7am - 3pm, Shift 2:3pm-11pm. Some shift 1 and shift 2
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Check in and check out guest efficiently
- Manage online and phone reservations
- Communicate with housekeeping department to ensure smooth check in process and rooms are ready for guests
- Provide information for guests regarding rates, rooms, rates and amenities
- Response to guests' complaints in timely manner and professional manner
- Receive and route incoming calls in an efficient, friendly manner
- Accurately post charges to guest accounts.
- Maintain the confidentiality of proprietary company information, including but not limited to, hotel performance statistic, information about clients, prospective business, hotel financial information throughout and after employment by the hotel
- Other duties assigned by management
