What We’re Looking For:
We are seeking a dedicated professional with strong leadership abilities who will:
Team Leadership:
- Assign and schedule work of Tech Team members to ensure service delivery within acceptable timeframes. Provides input on team members' performance evaluations.
- Monitor for, and act upon service requests or tasks/projects that fall outside of service levels to ensure appropriate action.
- Lead projects as assigned, helping to define requirements, deliverables and schedules.
Application Support:
- Provide support and monitoring of technical environment (workstations, applications, etc.) including but not limited to MS Office, MS Windows and other user devices and applications.
- Responds to and resolves problems with computer user / server / resident hardware / software / networks / vendors / residents. Some situations may require 24/7 response. Coordinate with vendor support as needed.
- Identifies and documents recurring issues and escalates as necessary to appropriate personnel.
Infrastructure Management and Documentation:
- Maintains Tech Team documentation, interprets relevant policies and procedures and suggests changes as necessary.
- Classify, catalog and maintain inventory pertaining to, but not limited to workstations, network devices, audio, visual and projection equipment.
- Develop both written and audio visual documentation and training materials relating to computer hardware, peripherals, software and audio visual equipment.
- Assist in the purchasing / procurement / distribution of pertinent materials, equipment and supplies.
Monitoring the Environment:
- Monitor system and network performance, ensuring acceptable service levels using applications such as Solarwinds Orion, Netwrix and others.
- Maintain resident public access computers & software, ensuring system and software availability.
- Monitor key applications, system alert emails, email mailbox usage, network and Internet access, computer performance & updates, anti-virus, etc.

Skills and Requirements:
Education:
- Required: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Preferred: Associate’s Degree in Computer Technology or a related field
Experience:
- At least 4 years of experience in computer technology or comparable experience
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to self-research and become proficient with new systems and tools.
- Knowledge of computer hardware, software, printers and peripherals.
- Knowledge of network hardware.
- Ability to accurately type 25 WPM
- Knowledge of desktop and mobile operating systems.
- Work hours require flexibility, with some after-hours support as needed.
- Ability to complete tasks and solve problems independently as well as in teams.
- Must be able to climb ladders
- Must be able to distinguish colors
- Must be able to see small and very small objects in detail
- Must be able to operate power and hand tools and test equipment
- Must possess fine motor skills to be able to touch, feel and manipulate small objects and wires
