Position Summary
Under the direction of the Living Well Director, assists and coordinates campus activities and events for independent living residents on and off campus. The Lifestyles Coordinator will be responsible to ensure the success of the Life of the Mind. The life of the Mind is a dynamic, lifelong learning program for residents of La Posada, fostering active engagement and intellectual exploration.
Essential Functions
• Collaborate with and manage a variety of engaging presentations, field trips, and musical performances that align with the mission of the Life of the Mind lifelong learning program.
• Execute program activities, ensuring adherence to schedules and deadlines.
• Write and edit program materials, communications, and promotional content with precision and professionalism.
• Maintain and manage participant and program information using spreadsheets and other online tools.
• Host meetings and gatherings effectively.
• Foster collaboration and engagement among participants and staff.
• Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling, including availability on days, nights, and weekends as required.
• Organize and manage all administrative tasks required by the program such as, but not limited to; reservations, billing, check requests, etc.
Experience:
• 1 year demonstrated experience in supporting and coordinating events
• Experience in Adult Education preferred
Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Some knowledge of graphics software preferred.
Certificates & Licenses: First Aid and CPR
